The upcoming meeting of Bishops of the Holy Synod will transpire from October 28 to October 30, being the last weekend in October. This has also become an informal clergy synaxis (i.e. for priests, deacons, and others), as well as chance for laity to meet each other and clergy and their bishops; as it has the past 4 years. For those planning on coming, please contact either Fr. Hieromonk Enoch or Fr. Deacon Joseph Suaiden who work on the planning committee for hotel and eating arrangements.
Per our tradition, the two Liturgies will be celebrated on the weekend. The Eastern Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom on Saturday morning, October 29, at the monastery Church, and then, on Sunday morning, October 30, the standard Old Western Liturgy of St. Gregory the Great.
Visitors welcome.
