Recent Earthquakes in the Philippines

We ask all of our clergy, laity, and monastics to pray for our clergy and laity in the Philippines, as several earthquakes and aftershocks cause serious damage to the region in Mindanao. Some individuals have been injured from among our churches, not to mention the many others who have died or been seriously injured, or had their homes destroyed, in the wider region. We pray that Our Lord Jesus Christ will hear the prayers of the faithful, and that the Protecting Veil of the Mother of God will be extended to the region.
