Join Metropolitan John and supporters for Pontifical Rite Holy Mass on May 19th at Holy Transfiguration Church in Woodstock. The Feast of the Passion of St. John Before the Latin Gate will be celebrated; this Feast falls on May 6th on the Church (Old Julian) Calendar, which is May 19th on the New Calendar. Time and Schedule: Solemn Reception of the Bishop at 9:30 AM; Terce [Third Hour] follows immediately, then Pontifical Rite Holy Mass for St. John celebrated by Metropolitan John, followed by Sext [Sixth Hour]. Services are expected to end shortly after noon time. Ninth Hour and Vespers will be celebrated with clergy at the Church around 5pm that evening.
Other Events: A short dinner after Mass. Talks and recorded interviews about the building project; a tour around the grounds. Meeting between the town supervisor and clergy later that day about the project.
