Bp. Lazr (Bubanjko) of Niagara Appointed Exarch for Canada

His Grace, Bishop Lazr (Bubanjko) of Niagara, was on August 22nd (OS) / September 4th (NS), appointed the Exarch for Canada, for His Beatitude, Metropolitan John. As such, all of our clergy, monastics, monasteries, parishes, missions, and laity will be subject to Bp. Lazr’s authortiy as deputy for the Metropolitan, until such time in the near future that Bp. Lazr can be formally enthroned as Ruling Bishop.

Henceforth, all monasteries, missions, parishes, and clergy, should contact His Grace, Bishop Lazr, in future, concerning all important matters pertaining to pastoral questions and the governance of churches in the territory of the Dominion of Canada, subject only to the Metroppolitan and Holy Synod as an whole.
